Jansz Dental was established in 1996 by Dr Jeremy Jansz with a clear vision: to provide high-quality, honest and patient-focused dental care to the Sherwood community. Since opening its doors, the practice has remained family-owned and continuously operated by Dr Jeremy. Our practice is the longest-serving dental practice in Sherwood.
Over more than three decades, Jansz Dental has grown alongside the local community, caring for generations of families across Brisbane’s south-western suburbs. While the practice has evolved with modern technology and contemporary treatment techniques, its objective has remained unchanged – providing clinical excellence for patients of all ages in a safe and welcoming environment.

How often should I visit the dentist?
We generally recommend a dental check-up every 6 months, though this can vary depending on your oral health.
What should I expect at my first visit?
We’ll start by reviewing your medical history before performing a comprehensive dental examination, including X-rays if required. Your visit is completed with a professional clean and a personalised treatment plan, so you know exactly what to expect.
What should I do if I have a toothache?
If you have a toothache, please contact our practice as soon as possible so we can identify the cause and relieve your pain.

Dental emergency on a Saturday night, couldn't find anyone to help me except for Dr Jansz who responded quickly and kindly saw me first thing Sunday morning. I was in agony and, after explaining how scared I am of dentistry work, he reassured me and was really very calm and gentle, talking me through every single step.
